I have loved crafting from a very early age. As a child, I tried everything I could get my hands on: paint by numbers, latch hook rugs, and even calligraphy. It was this innate passion for art that led me to pursue my bachelor’s degree in design and merchandising.
While I ultimately landed in a career in retail operations, I still found myself wanting to create new things to stay inspired. In my free time, I returned to calligraphy. After many hours of practicing, playing around with different styles, cruising Pinterest for inspiration, and spilling many, many ink bottles, I successfully taught myself.
After I attended a few workshops hosted by talented calligraphers, my husband joked that this was becoming a *very* expensive hobby. It was the push I needed to turn my creative outlet into a legitimate business.
As it turns out, my work was just what Austin couples were looking for.
Hi, I’m Kelli
The best things happen by surprise
I didn’t plan to be part of a wedding signage business — but sometimes, the best things happen by surprise.
For years, I worked as a bookkeeper, juggling numbers and spreadsheets with precision — a job that taught me attention to detail and inspired a love for clean, organized design. But behind the digits, I always felt a pull toward something more creative and expressive. What began as a helping hand turned into a creative passion I never expected.
Designing wedding invites means playing matchmaker between paper, ink, and personality — creating that perfect first impression that hints at a story waiting to be told. I quickly fell in love with the process of bringing wedding visions to life through design.
Every day, I get to be a part in creating pieces that make someone’s day feel extra special — and that is truly a privilege.
I found freedom and joy in creating
Art was always a passion in my life. From being an easy child to buy gifts for, to taking art classes whenever I could, I found a freedom and joy in the act of creation.
From pencil to charcoal, to oil painting and pastels, and the most especially acrylic and watercolors, my favorite thing is when I get to create something for others.
It has been a true delight to work with Kelli in bringing her couple’s visions to life. In this role as the studio’s in-house illustrator, I have greatly enjoyed the process of learning new skills, including reigniting a love of digital art!
Technology has come a long way since I plugged a little drawing tablet into the computer in college. At the same time, I thank each and every one of you for supporting the human hands and minds that work hard on crafting you the perfect details for your special day.
no matter how many weddings we serve, our goal remains the same:
When I was planning my own wedding, I was stunned by the number of vendors you have to keep in contact with. “Overwhelming” is putting it lightly.
We’ve made it our goal to alleviate this stress by being your one point of contact for all your design and stationery needs from beginning to end. From Save-The-Dates to Invitations to Day-Of Signage (complete with frames, stands, easels, etc.), we’re here for you for all of the things.
It’s possible to be surprised by the power of a simple font choice. To experience the difference a font/color combination can make. To notice how the smallest details play off one another.
Maybe it’s the tiniest grommet used to hold your place cards to the menu, or the leather on your hanging signage, or a beautifully hand-lettered escort card. Wherever details can be found, they matter, and I want to show you their power.
My everyday handwriting looks like chicken scratch (not even kidding)!
